Diabetes Education Classes Overview:
Learning as much as you can about diabetes is so important for your health.
Our diabetes classes are designed for people who have type 2 diabetes, whether they are recently diagnosed, are in need of a review or have never had diabetes education.
If you were recently diagnosed with diabetes or just want to learn much more about living with diabetes, this program may be for you.
We offer classes where people with diabetes can share ideas, concerns and feelings about living with this chronic disease.
Kovler’s Diabetes Education Program, which is recognized by the American Diabetes Association, includes resources to guide you through any other decisions and challenges you may face because of diabetes.
Our diabetes education class is a group discussion about the basics of diabetes, the benefits and importance of blood glucose monitoring, the A1c test and what it means, diabetes medicines, general meal planning and preventing long-term complications.
