This program is designed for primary care physicians, dietitians, nurses, certified diabetes educators, and other healthcare professionals with an interest in diabetes.
- By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
Identify the 2016 ADA Standards of Care for classifying, diagnosing, preventing, and treating patients with diabetes
- Describe the basis of Continuous Glucose Monitor technology
- Discuss current and emerging pharmacological treatments for type 2 diabetes
- Define the relationship between diabetic kidney disease and coronary artery disease
