Dorothy McLeod is a psychology extern in the department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Chicago. As a Health and Wellness Counselor at the Kovler Diabetes Center, Dorothy meets with children, adolescents, and adults to encourage healthy adjustment, reduce distress, and address barriers to self-management of diabetes. Dorothy’s research interests center on understanding the development of child health disparities, with a special focus on childhood obesity.
