Colleen is currently a PhD candidate in clinical psychology at Loyola University Chicago, a psychology extern in the department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Chicago Medical Center, and a member of Kovler’s Health and Wellness Team. As a Health and Wellness Counselor at the Kovler Diabetes Center, Colleen meets with children, adolescents, and adults to encourage healthy adjustment, reduce stress, and address barriers to self-management of diabetes. Her research focuses on the relations between parent/family adjustment and child functioning for youth with chronic health conditions.
