Amy Heard is a psychology extern in the department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Chicago. Amy is a Health and Wellness Counselor at the Kovler Diabetes Center, and as such, meets with patients of all ages to offer support for adjustment, diabetes management strategies, and stress tolerance. Amy’s research interests lie in the intersection between environmental, biological, and psychological determinants of eating behavior and weight gain.
