Diabetes Research and Training Center (DRTC)

The University of Chicago’s in-house Diabetes Research and Training Center enables meaningful interaction for our independently funded investigators focused on diabetes and related metabolic and endocrine disorders. The Center, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, also attracts young investigators to the University of Chicago through a successful Pilot and Feasibility Program, which provides support for eligible investigators to develop preliminary data to the degree that it would support a research grant application, or to test an innovative hypothesis in diabetes-related research.

For comprehensive information on the Center and the Pilot and Feasibility Program, visit the Center’s website.
