Olesya Krivospitskaya received her medical degree from the Voronezh State Medical Academy named for N.N. Burdenko, Russia . She was awarded with The Swedish Institute Scholarship and spent three years in Sweden working in research. Dr. Krivospitskaya received a Licentiate Degree from the Örebro University, Sweden. She completed her internship and residency at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit , IL . She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Currently Dr. Krivospitskaya is a clinical endocrinology fellow. She provides a medical care for patients with different endocrine disorders (diabetes, obesity, thyroid diseases, pituitary diseases, adrenal diseases). Dr. Krivospitskaya also works in Dr. Refetoff`s lab. Her research focuses on identifying inherited genetic mutations that may cause thyroid diseases.
