Patient education is critical to diabetes treatment. We help individuals learn about their condition and develop a personalized program that makes sense for them.
Diabetes is as unique to the individual as thumbprints. Understanding how it impacts your body is important to understanding how to manage it.
To help you, our certified diabetes educators, registered dietitians and teaching physicians provide individualized care and group classes.
Kovler’s Diabetes Education Program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association, certifying that we offer high-quality diabetes self-management education.
Held at Kovler Diabetes Center, our classes are open to University of Chicago patients who have an “order” from their U of C provider.
