We offer classes and free programs and events – both on and off-campus – to help you lead a healthy, happy life.

Diabetes Education

Adult and pediatric diabetes education programs at the Kovler Diabetes Center are recognized by the American Diabetes Association. We provide a range of courses to guide and support you through your medical care.

In addition, our Certified Diabetes Educators provide one-to-one nutritional counseling, insulin instruction, meter instruction, and individual sessions tailored to meet your specific needs.

NOTE: Individuals interested in making an appointment to receive diabetes education must be receiving care from a University of Chicago Physician.
