Carrie Chui is an undergraduate communication extern for Kovler Diabetes Center. She is currently studying biological sciences and visual arts at the University of Chicago. As a communications extern for Kovler, Carrie is interested in learning how social media can be used as a means to keep our diabetes patients connected with the care and services provided by Kovler, and how social media can be used to positively influence them in the decisions they make.
Currently, she is also focused on assisting Kovler in an international effort to extend key care and resources to diabetes patients who are largely underserved.
So far, she believes that working for Kovler has been–and will continue to be–a very rewarding experience.
