Dr. Brown specializes in endocrinology, including thyroid disorders, pituitary diseases, diabetes and metabolic disorders/obesity. She coauthored a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine that investigated the relationship
between changes in thyroid function and weight gain.
She is a member of The Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
