Casimiro, IsabelIsabel Casimiro is an endocrinology fellow in the Physician Scientist Development Pathway at the University of Chicago Medicine. Her PhD research led to the understanding of the role of Allograft Inflammatory Factor-1 (Aif-1) in macrophage function, atherosclerosis, and obesity. Her current research involves understanding the impact of bariatric surgery on adipocyte metabolism.
