Ana B. Goya Arce, is a fourth year clinical psychology doctoral candidate in the child track at DePaul University. Ana is passionate about supporting children and adolescents with chronic illnesses, and is very excited to join the Kovler Health and Wellness Team! She has several years of experience working with children and adolescents of diverse backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health needs.

Clinical interests:

– Better understanding the relationship between the immune system and psychological states
– The effect that culture has on the presentation, coping, and management of chronic illnesses
– Adaptation of treatments for anxiety and depression to better serve diverse cultural groups
