Research Study on Type 2 Diabetes and Pediatrics

At the Kovler Diabetes Center, experts are committed to providing patients with access to cutting-edge treatments and therapies. Kovler’s clinical research program, lead by Tiffany Grant, NP, FNP, empowers individuals with diabetes to take advantage diabetes clinical trials at Kovler that can provide critical insights in diabetes management.

Currently, Kovler researchers are conducting a clinical research study with children to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a medication approved by the FDA for treatment of Type 2 diabetes in adults. Those who are 10 to 17 years of age and have Type 2 diabetes may qualify to be in this clinical research study.
Qualified Participants will receive:

  • study-related medication
  • study-related laboratory testing
  • study-related glucose monitoring
  • study-related physical exams
  • compensation, including plus parking and other incentives

Study participation involves approximately nine study visits.
